Mi 12 Ultra camera specifications may add 12 Ultra enhanced version

So far, the rumors about the upcoming Mi 12 Ultra are quite limited, but as the first quarter of 2022 approaches, we are beginning to get a more complete picture. The latest report from Xiaomi ui revealed the code name, basic camera specifications, and indicated that the company is also preparing to launch the Xiaomi 12 Super Enhanced Edition.

These two phones are referenced in Xiaomi’s MIUI source code, codenamed Thor and Loki respectively. The former belongs to the standard Ultra, and Loki is said to be an enhanced version. Unsurprisingly, both devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 gen1, currently also known as the Snapdragon 898.

On the front of the camera, we are equipped with Samsung’s 50MP GN5 sensor for the main camera. The main camera is connected to three other 48MP units. We feel that at least one of them will be paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and the maximum zoom for still images is considered to be 120x (like 11 Ultra), while for video, it has an upper limit of 15x.

The report also mentioned a new under-screen fingerprint reader, but we have not seen what benefits it will bring. Let’s wait and see.
